For members ready to step from serious training into serious competition, at home and abroad.

The competition pathway is for members ready to step from serious training into serious competition. Entry is earned through demonstrated readiness — a coach-selected environment for athletes preparing to represent themselves, and UMAC, on regional and international stages.

  • For athletes and teens aged 12 and over, by coach approval.
  • Readiness is a safety judgement made by the coaches, not a matter of time served.
  • Competition entries follow the WAKO and UAE MKFED pathways and may carry separate fees.
  • Sessions run seven days a week (see times below).

How do I join the competition team?
Entry is by coach approval, based on demonstrated readiness. Readiness is a safety judgement made by the coaches, not a matter of time served.
Which federations does UMAC compete under?
Gradings and competition entries follow the WAKO and UAE MKFED pathways.
Is there an age limit?
Competition and Teens sessions are for athletes aged 12 and over, with coach approval.
Are competition entries included in membership?
Competition entries and gradings may carry separate fees. The coaching team will tell you what applies before any entry is made.
